Mary Bolles Holder, CNM, ARNP, is a board-certified nurse midwife and nurse practitioner. Holder's initial calling to midwifery was seeded more than 30 years ago when she attended her first home birth. To this day, she continues to be amazed by both the wonder and the mystery of birth and the capacity of women. She cherishes the opportunity to be a part of this sacred transition for families and offer her clinical knowledge and expertise to provide the highest quality of care to birthing mothers.

Holder is a teaching associate for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UW School of Medicine . Her clinical and research interests include family planning, women's health, management of normal pregnancy and birth with co-management of moderate-risk pregnancies with OB physicians.
