GME Summit
The UWSOM is committed to exemplary graduate medical education (GME). Each year approximately 1600 residents and fellows train in GME programs in Washington state. Through initiatives to bring together thought and practice leaders we are making significant strides to improve GME for our region and beyond. To this end, UWSOM holds a GME Summit approximately every other year to share information and discuss important GME topics such as GME reform, developing new GME programs, financing GME, program innovations and interprofessional training, to name a few.
